Back light-painting experiments

What happen when you play with a flashlight and a smoke machine? Fun! Pure fun! At first, I was just experimenting a little bit with this technique, but then I realized the potential of creating great images by pointing a powerful flashlight (300 lumens) at the back of a dancer, revealing the shadows and spectacular trails of light.

For most of these pictures, I turned of the 360 degree bullet-time system, but I kept it on for this one, and that reveals the whole scene, and at the same time, me, with my flashlight in my hand. This one is made with Alexander Hille
