Freedom to Transact, Freedom to Create

Just as with most of our work, this is lit by hand, one frame at a time. The long exposure images have been captured in full 360° using 176 cameras.

The process
For this one, we did 5 shots to produce the final image
“Freedom to Create” lettering - using a LED bar
light-painting using a holosquare - wrapping Kim
light-painting using a holosquare - 4 helixes around Kim
constant red/blue lights installed on the rim of our camera structure

I had to do the 5 shots super quickly in order to reduce movement from Kim. Each shot is about 5 seconds, and there’s a waiting time of 5 seconds between each. The longer it takes, the more likely we’ll get some body shifting from Kim, making it harder for me to line up the 5 images in post-production
